Welcome!
Hello everyone, and welcome!
I’m Chris Bagger, an amateur hobbyist photographer based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest—specifically Aumsville area in Oregon. I’ve always had a deep love for capturing the world around me through my lens, and over the years, that passion has grown into a focus on landscape photography, travel adventures, and the occasional portrait (especially when friends, family, or even pets catch my eye).
Oregon is my playground—home to dramatic coastlines, misty waterfalls, towering mountains like the Cascades, high desert landscapes, and endless forests that change with every season. Some of my favorite spots include the rugged beauty of the Oregon Coast (think Yachats and Cannon Beach), the stunning waterfalls at Silver Falls State Park, the serene reflections at Sparks Lake or Trillium Lake, and the epic sunrises over Central Oregon’s volcanic landscapes. Whenever I can, I pack up my gear and hit the road to explore new places, whether it’s a quick weekend trip along the coast or a longer adventure further afield.
This blog is where I’ll share my journey: recent photos from my outings, stories behind the shots, tips I’ve picked up along the way (from chasing golden hour light to dealing with Oregon’s unpredictable weather), and maybe a few gear thoughts or editing experiments. It’s not about being a pro—I’m just an enthusiast who loves getting out there and freezing those fleeting moments.
Whether you’re a fellow photographer looking for inspiration, someone planning a trip to Oregon, or just enjoy beautiful landscapes, I hope you’ll stick around and join me on these adventures.
Thanks for stopping by—feel free to browse the photos, drop a comment, or say hello. Let’s capture some magic together!
Cheers,
Chris
