This week I went with the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the challenge was slow shutter, waterfalls! I went for a short drive and got to use my new Benro tripod. I set up with a pool for my foreground and tried to catch some of the creek flowing out of the frame away from the falls.
Had my son sit in a chair in our living room that has pretty decent light. Wanted to get some light on the back of all that hair while still lighting his face, luckily we have 3 windows side by side with plenty of afternoon light.
Our beers matched the colors of the table and solved the problem I was having with what to post this week. Moral of the story is when in doubt take a break and have a beer. Cheers!
This tree stands by itself in a field and a couple weeks ago we had an ice storm that damaged a lot of trees in our area. I went to see how this tree fared and was surprised that it was mostly still standing. It lost a few branches that are stacked at the base of its trunk.
